Situated just 8 miles North of Leeds City Centre, Bannatyne Cookridge Hall is a Grade II listed historic hall originally the home of a wealthy landowner, dating back to 1721.

The listed building, set amongst an 18 hole golf course and beautiful grounds, makes the perfect backdrop to celebrate your wedding in style. Fall in love with it’s unique character and style, with many original features.

Although we have no accommodation on site, there are many local hotels  a short taxi ride away.

The Cedar Room

Located in the old part of the Hall, the Cedar Room has high ceilings, plenty of natural daylight and direct views of the gardens

The Conservatory

Our function suite The Conservatory, is light and airy and looks out onto the beautiful gardens, Natural light floods in through the large windows which are complemented by the addition of twinkling fairy lights in the evening. The large wooden beams add to the rustic feel of the space. The bar is licensed until 1am so you have plenty of time to dance the night away until the early hours with your guests. There is also a separate lounge area for those guests who like a bit of quiet time!

You will start your day confident in the knowledge that our professional and experienced staff will have taken care of all your specific requirements, allowing your day to be simply perfect.

Having chosen our venue for your wedding ceremony, your guests begin to gather in our bar and garden, relaxed in the knowledge that yours is the only wedding taking place. You are our absolute priority.

Your guests will be guided into the Cedar Room, dressed perfectly for your ceremony, where the groom is waiting nervously for his bride to arrive. A few final moments to take in the beautiful surroundings of your wedding setting, finished perfectly by your own personal touches and adornments, before the ceremony begins as the bride makes her grand entrance.

After taking your vows overlooking our picturesque gardens or having just arrived at our venue for your wedding reception celebrations, your guests will enjoy drinks whilst your photographer takes advantage of the stunning backdrops for the individual and group photographs, both inside and outside the venue.

Once your perfect pictures have been captured, it is time to enjoy a sumptuous wedding breakfast.The bright and airy Conservatory makes the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast, allowing up to 80 guests. Your speeches will mark the close of your daytime reception, ready for the evening celebrations to begin.

Please arrange an appointment with our Events Manager who will discuss all of your requirements and provide a tour of our venue and grounds.

If you would then like to make a provisional reservation, we can hold your desired date for up to 14 days following which, we would require a deposit to confirm your booking.

We will then contact you to discuss your plans in further detail and confirm these in writing. Meetings will then follow as frequently as you wish, keeping your information updated at every stage as we plan for your special day.
